形態特徵

• Stipes tufted, brownish, articulation oblique, about 1-3 cm from base; scales thin, brown; fronds pinnate, 10-30 cm long; pinnae 10-15 mm long, sessile, dimidiate at base, auricled on adaxial side, upper surface sparsely pubescent, undersurface scaly and pubescent; hairs long, multieellular, light brown to reddish-brown; rachis grooved, pubescent; scales thin, ovate-lanceolate; venation free, veins ending in hydathodes somewhat short of the margin.
• Sori round submarginal, surrounded by hairs; indusia basal, lobed and ciliate on its margins.
• This species has several varieties depending on amount and color of pubescence, and whether the margin of the pinnae is entire or sinuate.
